Voici Marie (à droite) avec ses enfants et bien sur Clelia. Clelia tiens le petit Jonathan qui nous aura fait bien peur. Il s'est réveillé un matin avec l'oeil bien bien gonflé. On a essayé de soigner ça mais pas les bons médicaments sur Mékambo alors 3 jours après l'oeil pire en pire on l'a envoyé en urgence à l'hopital de Makokou. Je vous rassure le petit bonhomme est totalement guéri maintenant :-)
Marie est notre maman à tous. Elle fait la cuisine, lave le linge, nous aide à dialoguer avec la population etc etc ...
Voici Alexis notre agent de santé de Mekambo. Charmant gentleman qui a trop rigolé avec les 2 folles de blanches qui déliraient souvent...
Justin, devoué, fait tout pour nous faciliter la vie sur le terrain.
A côté d'Alexis voici André. Le papi chauffeur qui devait prendre sa retraite mais a été spécialement délégué à cette mission afin de protéger les filles que nous sommes... Le souci c'est qu'il ne fait que des petites missions calmes d'habitude alors là on l'a fatigué mais fatigué !!!
The fist picture shows Marie (on the right) and her family. Clelia is holding jonathan who gave us quite a fright. One morning he woke up with his eye completly swolen. we gave him what we could but of course but we couldn't find the right meds in Mekambo. Three days later the eye got worse so wa sent him to makokou's hospital. Don't worry the little fellow is fine now. Marie is our mother on the field. She cooks, washes our clothes, helps us talk to the population...
On the second photo Alexis our charming nurse from Mekambo. The two crazy white girls really made him laugh !
Then comes Justin. He really makes our time on the field a lot easier.
Next to Alexis on the last photo is André the driver. He was supposed to stop work but was specially chosen for this mission to protect us girls.. The problem was that he was used to small slow missions so we really tired the poor man !
